She was born Christina Haack in Anaheim, California on the 9th July 1983. Her first job after school was working as an agent for real estate. In this industry, she met Tarek. They ran a prosperous business, until 2008, in which real estate developers or house flippers as well as other people went broke. Tarek El Moussa & Christina El Moussa were nearly financially bankrupted after the market crash of 2008. The couple relocated from an expensive home where they paid $6,000 for a month to a smaller house that was only $700. Their business, and the economy in general, slowly rebounded. HGTV and Rise to Fame In 2011 Tarek sought out a partner to aid him in making the HGTV audition tape, which featured the two of them Christina the process of flipping houses from start to finish. Pie Town Productions executives received the tape. They loved Tarek as well as Christina. They officially signed a HGTV agreement in the year 2012. The show "Flip of Flop" was launched on the 13th of April, 2013. In the seven seasons that ran from 2013 and 2017, the series ran 92 episodes. Christina and Tarek were the two characters in the series, would purchase properties, which were typically middle-income homes located in Orange County. Tarek's focus is on demolition and remodelling, while Christina concentrates on design.
