Antonia's Lofaso invites you discover her worldview through her cuisine. Her interest in food after moving from the suburban Long Island to the diverse cultural landscape in Los Angeles. Scopa Italian Roots opened its doors in the year 2013 and quickly became popular. The restaurant's version of traditional Italian cuisine is one of the top restaurants in Los Angeles. Lofaso's food is consistently genuine, warm and satisfying. Lofaso took her cues from the greats of culinary with sophisticated cooking techniques. However, she didn't hesitate to take extreme chances to honor her own instincts. She quickly rose through the ranks of Wolfgang Puck's Spago after which she went further to collaborate with celebrities in various Los Angeles kitchens. Lofaso established Black Market Liquor Bar with Sal Aurora and Mario Guddemi in Studio City, California. Lofaso was able to settle in the Black Market. Lofaso could achieve the creativity she craved through her collaboration. Black Market is not constrained to a specific direction and that's the goal. A meal could start with potatoes chips, peppers and dill, followed by Korean meatballs and wings. Antonia is the linchpin of this dazzling array. Lofaso assessed her success in the field by her capacity to be able to comprehend and appear authentic to her audiences. She has been a part of many television shows, like Top Chef Chicago, Top Chef: All Stars as well as Cutthroat Kitchen Man vs. Child on The Food Network and ABC's Real O'neals.
